The last month has been a very exciting and very focused month.
The Red Hearts and I have been in the studio recording a new 5-song Ep. We’ve been recording with our good buddy Curt Hines. So far everything is coming along smoothly. We’ve got some vocal tracks left, a couple other odds and ends and then mixing. I am expecting us to have tracking done by Christmas time with mixing to follow. After that, we’ll just need a little mastering from my good pal Tim Stollenwerk out in Portland, OR., plus the the ASCAP registrations, etc., and then we’ll be good to go. Figure sometime in January or February.
But before that, we’ve got a music video to put out. It’s all finished, we’ve just been waiting for the right moment and venue to be able to present it to you in the best way. The details on that almost set, and we’ll be announcing it soon. It will probably be mid to late January.
And last but not least, we’re playing a benefit show this coming Thursday, Dec. 1, at Rocky’s in Grand Rapids. We’re raising money for Berger’s disease. We’ll be playing with Smoking Jacket and Dante Cope. It’s gonna be a great time. We hope to see you there.
